Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA)

The Department of the Treasury and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System adopted a final rule to implement applicable provisions of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA).

Transactions restricted by the UIGEA are prohibited from being processed through commercial accounts. This prohibition is effective on June 1, 2010.
